I'm not a debian user but I would assume you just follow the install docs.

Are you having specific problems?

Is it a specific network service that you can't get working?

i am a debian user...but i dont have any idea to how can i configure a server with win98 clients....my boss made to do this.

Try starting with debian and samba for client connection.

I run a debian server with a WinXP client. The debian system is the firewall, dhcp server, web server and ftp server. It took a little while to set up but it works now. What exactly are you trying to do? IP masquerading? Most of the docs are on the web (especially www.tldp.org) but if you want help you'll have to be a little more specific.
