DCHP Client Problems with kernel upgrade
 

While upgrading from the 2.20 kernel to 2.4.9 (to obtain support for iptables), I have run into a bit of a snag. I have to 3com 509 NICs in this machine, as it is my intention to run it as a firewall. For some reason the new kernel is not finding the second NIC. Any thoughts I why that would be? I know that they work under the old kernel.
