dansguardian blocks google searches

Hi,

I have just set up dansguardian/squid for home use.

It's all running fine except dansguardian is blocking google searches. For example if I search for linux in the search box in Firefox, I get this:

... has been denied for the following reason:

Banned combination phrase found.

I also tested going to www.google.com in the browser and searching there and that got blocked also. If I do the same search from www.yahoo.co.uk it works fine.

What do I need to edit to stop it blocking innocent stuff?

I solved it by adding

google.com

to the exceptionsitelist file.

If you enable in the file /usr/local/etc/Dansguardian/lists/bannedphaselist the line .Include</usr/local/etc/Dansguardian/lists/phraselist/pornography/banned> you will block all Google seaches with SafeSearch turned off - this may be your problem? Check the Include file referenced above and see what I mean.
