Couldn't display "smb:///",

I'm running fedora. I'm having a big problem with Samba not wanting to run... when I hit the icon for the network it tells me Couldn't display "smb:///", because Nautilus cannot contact the SMB master browser.
Check that an SMB server is running in the local network.

I have SMB running!

I also see it on boot. Its says {OK}

what is worng! :-)

Please post your /etc/samba/smb.conf file, without the comments, of course. Also, this is a recurring problem in Fedora and searching this forum for the error message may give you the answer.

This also happens in slack, and I don't think it's a problem with the distribution. It may be a problem with nautilus, since when I ctrl+alt+backspace and startx again, I can view smb:///

You could logout, back to a terminal, and then use startx and retry, or you could do..
Code:
mount -t smbfs -o username=USERNAME,password=PASSWORD //SERVERNAME/SHAREFOLDER /mnt/FOLDERNAME
though you're going to have to mkdir /mnt/FOLDERNAME first.
