Could not parse the XML output from the network configuration backend. Slackware 12.2


Hello all.

Im having trouble with networking in Slackware. whenever i run the network settings app. i get "Could not parse the XML output from the network configuration backend." Whats wrong and how do i fix it ?

KDE

I found another thread where they said that you couldn't use KDE.
you have to log in as root and change it manually in
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf
