Copy and paste data on same linux machine from windows netwrok

Hi,
I have currently running 10 systems of Windows XP Professional 32 Bit and One system of Linux Mandriva 2008 all on windows networking environment. My Linux machine is a data server on my network, all are working fine. But when I install Windows x64 on a machine and trying to copy data from Linux data server and paste it on same machine (Linux data server)from Windows x64 machine, and in parallel I try to browse Linux machine, this attempt generate blue screen of death and my machine gets restarts.

Same scenario is working fine on Windows XP 32 Bit and Windows Vista.

Tell me how you are accessing linux machine from windows..

I have enabled SAMBA on Linux machine and shared some required folders to specific windows user. The Linux machine simply appears in my windows network and I use them.
