Question Control a Windows shared connection

I have a computer with windows xp set up to share the internet connection (yeah, I know it's stupid..)

Is there a way for me to control that internet connection from my linux box? I'm running Slackware 9.1...

Yes, I guess I could do that, but what I want to know is if there is any way for me to dial/hang up my windows-xp shared connection. A windows client gets the two "blinking screens" and can right click and choose to hang up. Is this not possible in linux?

You can set up a proxy server such as Proxy+ and use your browser to access it's Admin/control panel from which you can select, dial or hangup internet connections.

* I think that this piece of software is free for setups with less than 5 machines.
