Connection to LOCALHOST failed when I try to browse the LAN in Samba

Im trying to set up a Mandrake LAN and found it is difficult. I have 2 PC and connect to a 4port ASDL router as gateway. The problem is Sambo wont show 2 host at one time. why? One of the host shown Connection to LOCALHOST failed when I browse the workgroup in Samba. why?
