Connection Sharing in SuSe 9.1

Hello,
this may have been answered previously but I did not really understand the responses prior. I would like to share a connection between a SuSe 9.1 machine that is connecting to the internet with a computer with Windows 2000. I understand that you need to use masquerading but I do not understand what all I need to do in this.
I would appreciate any help and I do apologize if this has been asked before.
Thank you
John
