Connecting to the Internet

I trying to connect to the Internet I can ping my Linux server from my Laptop which is running Window 2000, I also can use putty to SSH my server, but ever time I try to connect to the Internet using Mozilla it's say web page is not found. I can ifconfig to see my IP address and I also Active in my Network connection. Can anyone help?

Hello. It is very useful if you say which distro you are using (add it to your profile) so that if there are any onboard tools to use, you can use them and we know you can use them Have you tried reaching a website by using its ip rather than its domain name? Try 212.58.224.131 -- this should take you to bbc.co.uk
