Unhappy Connecting to internet via ubuntu 9.04

Hello,
I have previously connected to internet through ubuntu 9.04 using the DSL tab in the right top corner of the networking icon.
But now i am unable to connect..
What could be the problem..

click on system > administration > network > click on new > select DSL connection......

Connecting to internet via ubuntu 9.04
I have already done that but now its unable to establish a connection..
Network icon on right hand top corner->DSL->ADD then i entered my username and password..checked connect automatically..then checked enable networking..previously it had worked but now it doesn't connect.
