Hi, I recently returned to college, and have been having a spot of trouble getting linux installations to access the internet. Strangely enough, I installed debian from a net-install disc just fine, getting an ip via dhcp and connecting to the repository--but I could not connect to the internet, or the campus network afterwards.
I'm presently running Fedora 10, my motherboard is an a8n-sli premium, with two onboard nics, I am plugged in to the nvidia onboard network controller. I can (and am currently) connected to the internet through the dorm network on a windows install on the same computer.
Please help me get to the bottom of this problem so I can use a proper operating system!
Thanks in advance.
Here is some information which I've collected that seems relevant.
