Connecting to a Win2K domain

Hi All,

I just set up a Red Hat 9 Workstation and have fallen in love.... I am an Admin for a Manufacturing company and have several Microsoft Win2K Servers that make up my network.

I wanted to know If I can have a Linux machine access resources on the Win2K box.

What is this called?

Regards,
Dave

OK Iv'e seen this and that about samba. Is samba a service that runs on the linix box that allows me to authenticate on a domain server? Or is Samba it's onw file server that runs on the Linux box?

Thanks for your response....
