Connecting to a GNATBox VPN?

Hello!

Firstly please go easy on me - I'm a complete VPN noob and although not a complete Linux noob, have only been using it for a couple of months!

Anyway - the company I work for has a Windows network which connects to the outside world through a GNATBox firewall. Our IT geezer has set up a VPN so that a certain number of Windows users (including me) can connect to our network using the GNATBox Windoze client.

I was wondering if it is possible to set it up so that my Linux laptop can connect through the VPN too. It works fine on our network when I'm at work so once I get through the firewall I'll be sailing. I'm using Fedora Core 3, and the GUI I use is Gnome.

Can anyone please:
(a) Tell me its just not possible or;
(b) Point me in the right direction as to what I need to do to get started?

Ta very muchly!

Jamie. :)
