Connect your dsl modem to your laptop. Just like you would a regular desktop computer. Your laptop should have an ethernet port (either built-in or as a PCMCIA card on the side). If you don't, then you might have a laptop with 802.1b/g or bluetooth.
Do you have a router of any sort?
