Question Connectiing to a Widows network with SUSE 9.1

Hi, I am trying to connect a Linux PC to a windows peer to peer network.
Comp No.1 Windows XP Pro PC (hardwired)
Comp No2 Windows 98 Laptop (wireless)
Comp N03 Linux Suse 9.1 Pro (hard Wired)
Router Net gear wireless router
Operating System SUSE 9.1 pro
NIC 3Com 3C905B configured with DHCP

All computers can use the internet. Through the router

When I use YaST/Samba to setup connection to the Windows Computers and try to set up the workgroup name or browse for workgroups I get nothing.

I had to use NetBEUI to get my two windows computers to connect to each other when I originally set up the router.

I know NetBEUI is old technology but it works OK with a small group of computers.
I am entering the correct workgroup name.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the windows machines are strictly on NetBEUI, I don't know if Linux will be able to communicate with them at all. Can they all ping each other and everything?
