this is my first topic here and i realy appreciate any help from all the experts here...

the problem is: i have 3 DSL modems and i wanna merge them all to my squid server to improve the performance of the internet.

how to configure my squid box and my NIC's to do this task?

Never did this before (but have researched it) so I don't know all that is required.

There are 2 ways you could accomplish this.

1) Buy a load balancing router
- Cisco and Barracuda Networks are two companies that sell them. These things are/can be expensive though. Most load balancers can only handle 2 incoming connections (i.e. 2 DSL Modems) or require a 2nd identical router and 2 switches.

2) A cheaper way (but requires more network hardware) would be to install 3 Ethernet cards on your squid server and connect the DSL modems directly to the server. If you try/consider this method I would recommend buying 3 routers (one per DSL modem). This method would require load balancing software be installed on the server to use all 3 connections as 1 connection

Method 2 diagram:
DSL Modem 1 --> Router 1 --> Server:Eth0
DSL Modem 2 --> Router 2 --> Server:Eth1
DSL Modem 3 --> Router 3 --> Server:Eth2
