you should only need the ip address and port number. if your ip address starts with 192.168 or 10.10 they are non routable

since this your homework have you tried to do it yet or did you just come here for the answer?

hi murankar

i read few guides in internet and tried to change my route table
i.e
add -net 10.0.0.20 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 10.0.0.1 dev tun0

it gives the error
SIOCADDRT: no such process

actually i read tat to configure in same network you hav to giv a diffrent gateway.

but i m not sure is this the right approch..
can you please explain this in bit detail how? and why?
i mean what is happening behind the scenes

thanks for reply...

I run real vnc when needed. Your gateway would be the router that is connecting the to pc's.

After that I will be honest I don't know. I haven't expanded on my networking skills yet, although I do have a client(1) and one server running. That is about the extent of my knowledge base.

Sorry I can't help beyond that someone will post to help you along.
