Question Configuring DSL in SUSE


Hi,

I have been trying to setup my pppoe fro use with my dsl provider. I have walked through the dsl config process. After that I try to connect but i never get the plug int socket icon which liets me kow I am connected. I Also do not receive any error messages. Do I need to confil gure the nic card a certain way. Any Help would be great.

You may not get an icon if the connection to the computer is via ethernet.

Back in the days of 56k modems connected directly to the computer the kppp program used to show a connection status icon.

Have you tested to see if you are actually connected?
