I am tring to set up a PDF printer through cups to allow the user to print directly to there email client as a pdf document. Has this been done before and if so can someone help with some helpful info.

Yes, I'm still working on it though. If you load cups. and cups-pdf rpm packages, that is a good start. Then I went under http://localhost:631 (cups configuration) and added new printer. Under add new printer was a pdf-print option.

My issue right now is that I generate pdf's fine, but once I do, I can only read them with none adobe based pdf readers. If I open them with acroread, I get a "A drawing error occurred." Still working on that one.

Pete
