Configure subdomain alias in bind9

I just installed a new home server with debian stabile and I have a question about bind9.

I would like to configure bind9 so that is resolved to while for * a request to the right dns server is made.

Can anyone help me with this?

Also a keyword to start a google search with would be ok.

Thank you very much.

AFAIK this should not be problem.

Just create zone and add a root A record pointing to

Like this:

$TTL 86400

@ IN SOA (
                        2012011299	; serial number YYMMDDNN
                        28800 ; Refresh
                        7200 ; Retry
                        864000 ; Expire
                        86400 ; Min TTL

                NS IN	A IN A
I know, that stuff with is kinda messy but it should work fine.

alias, bind9, dns
