Configure Redhat Linux on VMWare to use Apache and Tomcat

I'm quite new to Linux, so to some this might seem like a stupid question. I'm running Win XP as an OS (don't ask, company policy), installed Redhat
Linux 9 on the machine using VMWare.

Now, the scenario is like this. I want my host machine OS (XP) to see the
Apache server on Linux, and furthermore, I need to install Tomcat as a
CGI server on Linux.

Any ideas how I get this configuration to work? Any input will be appreciated.
