Coda File System still unknown to most

I've been experimenting with quite a few different things lately and one thing I've been intregued by in the Coda file system. I use NFS extentively around my office, but someone tipped me off to Coda. I see all positives with it, yet it is still unknown to the masses.

I'm just curious why this is? I'm new to Coda, but is there something in its past that keep people from using it?

Although you make my point about Codas popularity, no, it doesn't help, but thanks. Glad I could bump up your post count.

I'm not here for post counts or things like that. I just come here to learn, discover new interesting things and occasionally when possible, help others.

I've been reading here (http://www.coda.cs.cmu.edu/) and here (http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplan...orials/4481/7/) about Coda. although old articles it's still interesting, so yes if it has benefits i'm surprised it's not more widely known. but then again, there's so many filesystems out there, the list I can find in Linux is already too long for me.
