I configured a samba server for file and printing on Dell 8400 with RH Enterprise 3. The file service works fine, but the Brother 2700CN is refused the client connection.

From my Windows 2000 PC, I can see the printer brother icon, and installed the driver for it following the instructions. After the driver installation, when I click on the printer icon, it shows:
"Brother on PrintServer Access denied, unable to connect"

Has anyone see this before, and what is the solution?

Which user are you connecting as? Have you given them permission to use the printer?

Can you post a copy of your smb.conf file.

I login as myself(kgao) when accessing the samba file server.

Following is the smb.conf file. I added another config for printer broterprn, still denied access.
