Cisco VPN pcf and OpenVPN

I was given my pcf file to login to work from home and wanted to use OpenVPN instead of the Cisco VPN client software. Can I use this pcf file with OpenVPN?

Cisco VPN is something else than OpenVPN. It is closed, proprietary and assumes you are running Windows. The anser is no.

thanks for the reply,

I used vpnc instead:

http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/vpnc

I had to add a couple of changes to my workvpn.conf file:

Code:
## generated by pcf2vpnc
IPSec ID WorkVPN
IPSec gateway 192.168.5.10 # where the vpn is located
IPSec secret abC@234!@#ds
Xauth username me
Xauth password AS@#fDSF
IKE Authmode psk
#IKE DH Group dh2
#NAT Traversal Mode cisco-udp
Local Port 10000 # add this line
#IKE Authmode psk
regards

I am totally surprised. For years already our HQ IT-Dept told me what I wrote in my first answer.

Thanks for following up. The link doesn't work however, but googling also turns up the VPNC howto page. http://www.debuntu.org/how-to-connec...vpn-using-vpnc

(ok I happen to be a Debian man. Rumors are google now depends the search results on what most likely is applicable to you. Perhaps google returned something Debianish to me and something else to someone els?)
