Cisco VPN Client Version 4.0 Problem wth LM9.1
 

Dear All,

After I installed Cisco VPN client version 4.0 to my Linux Mandrake 9.1 system running kernel 2.4.21-0.13mdk, the following error message pops up whenever I try to connect the VPN client via dialup:

- Initializing the VPN connection
- The VPN sub-system is busy or has failed

Any idea why?

when I enable the ipseclog file, it says the vpn client is trying to establish a secure connection using ethernet.

I guest this is why I had the above error message, now how shall I tell the system to connect using may dialup connection instead of ethernet?

I managed to change the connection type to dialup now by modify the vpnclient.ini file.

Now another error is that:
" unable to launch PPPTool application"

FYI, I'm using KPPP dialer that comes with KDE 3.1 in LM9.1

Any idea?
