Cisco PIX 500 Series Secure Firewall (PIX-520)

I would very much like to buy one of these (I know where I can get a good deal on one of these in working condition) and was wondering if I could hook it up to my Adelphia cable modem to act as a firewall/router device or if I can place it after my router/VoIP unit (I would much prefer the latter if possible).

Thanks!

If your cable modem presents as Ethernet then you should be able to connect it to the PIX and then have everything else behind the PIX. Not sure what you mean about placing it after your router/VOIP unit. Prehaps an explanation of your topology might be inorder. A picture would be even better.
