CIFS issue

Hi,

Im trying to connect to a windows share on a windows 2003 R2 DC box. Im using archlinux 0.7.2 to try and connect and samba 3.

The issue im having is when i issue the...

mount -t cifs -o user=bozo,password=xxxxxx //2003r2/software /web/html/apps

Then i use apache 2 to list contents of /web/html/apps

It does mount the share properly but when i try to download a file it downloads a zero byte file always. I can open and read .doc and such files from the share fine

When i manually use cp command from linux i can copy programs to linux areas fine.

Is this then an apache fluke or? stumped so far.

It's not very clear exactly what the problem is. Are you trying to download the file from the apache server using a web browser or are you copying a file using a file manager like konqueror or nautilus?
