changing routes to remote pc

hii

i want to connect my Linuxbox1 to a remote Linuxbox2, but only to get the ppp connection from linuxbox2 onto the linuxbox1 as a default route. Is this possible? i dont want to setup vpn,wan or what eva... i cant do any configuring to the linuxbox2.
the whole point of this is to get a diffrent ip while still using linuxbox1.

I think what you are saying is you want to use linuxbox2 as an Internet gateway for linuxbox1. There is probably a convenient way within your distro for doing that. And you can always use the route or ip command to manually set up a default route, after deleting any existing default route.

However, for this to work, linuxbox2 must be setup to forward your connection, which is up to its sysadmin!

You can't connect to another box without being able to "configure" it.

Sounds like you want to hide behind someone else's IP address, which usually means your up to no good. TOR is the proper way to hide your IP, without doing anything illegal.
