How do i change the ip address on a linux server

You can use yast from command line (Network Devices-->Network Card), or the Administrator Settings from gui.

You should use YAST2 Control Center in suse10.3 in that click on Network Devices in Network Devices u will find Network Card click on that now u will find all network devices ..now u can configure which device u want to configure..
