change network printer IPs - problem
Using Red Hat ES 4. Have about 5 network printers setup on on jetdirects, port 9100. We had to ove the server to another location and had to change the IP addresses of the printers. We physically set the IP on the printer, and also changed it in Linux in printer Configuration. The new IP address is nopw shown in the config, but we can't print and we do, I see messages that the printer is trying to connect to the old IP address. We saved the changes - they are still there. We restarted CUPS, restarted the server, etc. Deleted the printers and reconfigured from scratch with the same name, it still trys to comnnect to the old IP. There is nothing in the hosts file for printers. Where could it be getting the old IP from?
TIA
