challenging linux routing

i have 2 computers in the same network let's say 10.0.0.76 and 10.0.0.88 and both have the same internet connection through 10.0.0.1 which is their gateway.

What I want to do is to setup one of the computers (88) to be also a gateway for (76).

Is this possible?

Ps. 76 and 88 r to far to connect them directly with an extra cable

thanxs guys.

but can i use both gateways in the same time(1 and 88) on 76? so i can split the traffic, ofcourse as 88's gateway is also 1 the packets will get trough 1 but using diffrent ways from 76:
1. directly
2. through 88 as second gateway

can i foreword through the same card/ip on 88?
