Angry Centreon Install problem.

Hello All!

I'm looked all over to try to resolve my problem. Still at a loss. Trying to install Centreon. There is a permissions / group problem. Web installation is saying:

Writable Nagios Config Directory Critical: Not Writeable
/usr/local/nagios/etc/ nagios:nagios (776)
Should be :nagios (775)

Writable Nagios Plugins Directory Critical: Not Writeable
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/ www-data:nagios (775)
Should be :nagios (775)

drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 2008-05-03 02:20 .
drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 4096 2008-05-04 22:07 ..
drwxrwxr-x 2 nagios nagios 4096 2008-05-03 02:20 bin
drwxrwxr-x 3 nagios nagios 4096 2008-05-03 02:23 etc
drwxrwxr-x 3 www-data nagios 4096 2008-05-04 22:26 libexec
drwxrwxr-x 2 nagios nagios 4096 2008-05-03 02:20 sbin
drwxrwxr-x 9 nagios nagios 4096 2008-05-03 02:28 share
drwxrwxr-x 5 nagios nagios 4096 2008-05-05 00:21 var

From what I can gather they want the owner to be blank. As far as I know of, that is not possible. It has to belong to someone?????

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks for your reply. It was a permission issue but with the assigned groups.

Well, there is an install script. It asks for an Apache username & group. You have to put something in those field. I got another error. The script was looking for a conf.pm file which didn't exist.
