CentOS 6 can't see or set up wireless card
Hello All,
I am a noobe to linux and I have setup Centos 6. I have set up raid 5 got Gnome starting on boot up and got my hard wire network working all from googeling and forums Problem: I cant figure out how to get my wireless card working. I have been searching all day and cant find or don't understand what I am reading. My wireless nic card is a linksys model WMP 600N pc wizard a utility for windows reports it as Ralink technology RT2800 802.11n Anyway this is one tough nut to crack. Any help I would really appreciate. Thanks |

I think you need a driver for your Ralink RT2800 PCI card-
Is your computer a desktop or a laptop? And is it 32bit or 64bit? If you don't know I can look up your computer and find out the specifications but I need to know what kind: A Toshiba? Hewett Packard? Lenovo? Asus? When you have time run this command in the terminal it will help. Code:
