Exclamation Cant connect: (Network is Down).


Hi hi!

I have been fixing my SpeedTouch.. I will tell you all the process:

modprobe -k speedtch (get the module of speedtouch working)
speedmgmt (just for fun)
br2684ctl -b -c 0 - a 0.8.35
pppd

(In that order)..

But I get...:

Jun 6 22:18:47 unmada pppd[2473]: Plugin

/usr/lib/pppd/plugins/pppoe.so loaded.
Jun 6 22:18:47 unmada pppd[2473]: PPPoE Plugin Initialized
Jun 6 22:18:47 unmada pppd[2474]: pppd 2.4.0 started by

root, uid 0
Jun 6 22:18:47 unmada pppd[2474]: Sending PADI
Jun 6 22:18:47 unmada pppd[2474]: sendto returned: Network

is down

What could I do?.. thanks.

first of all try installing newest pppd
