just installed RHES4, i can ping the www.google.com as well as the yahoo.com. in the console. but I cant connect using Firefox. I can ping also our router(linksys), but I cant connect to our router.
Could you supply a few more details to help resolve
your problem including :
Which version of firefox are you using ?
Are you using a static or DHCP allocated IP address
for your client ? If static is it in a valid address range
eg. 192.168.xx.xx
Have you checked that you have correctly configured
the gateway (router address) for your client
Have you checked that your firewall is not blocking access
from your Firefox client to/from your router ?
