Cannot start the diskless workstation
 

I was working on the diskless workstation for fedora core 1

Problem I am getting is with is as follows

My diskless computer can get the fixed ip that I configured it for but is not able to get the TFTP information

Computer gets the ipaddress subnet dhcp and gateway ip but then gives me the following error

PXE-E32 TFTP open timeout
TFTP...

Then restarts again and again the same error


Should I have to configure the TFTP also after setting up redhat-config-netboot

Any help will be appreciated

I also had this issue... If you manually configured the /etc/dhcpd.conf file, make sure that it points to the correct file. On my installation the file it is looking for is

/tftpboot/lts/2.6.9-ltsp-3/pxeconfig.0

But you have (probably) set your LTSP to see /tftpboot as root for your TS. Therefore, the dhcpd.conf should be configured without the "/tftpboot" prefix.
