cannot rejoin after upgrade to Samba 3.0.2a

Hi there,
I've only been playing with Linux and Samba for a few weeks and I had major headaches getting my Linux box to link with my XP machine.

Here's my smb.conf file:

[global]

# basic server settings
workgroup = prochiang
netbios name = linuxdesktop
server string = samba server
socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_RCVBUF=8192

# PDC and master browser settings
os level = 64
preferred master = yes
local master = yes
domain master = yes

# security and logging settings
security = user
encrypt passwords = yes
domain logons = yes
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
log level = 2
max log size = 50
hosts allow = 127.0.0.1 192.168.123.

# roaming profiles: user profiles and home directory
logon home = \\%L\%U
logon drive = H:
logon path = \\%L\profiles\%U
logon script = netlogon.bat

# sync UNIX passwords
unix password sync = yes
passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *New*UNIX*password* %n\n *Retype*new*UNIX*password* %n\n *Enter* new*UNIX*password* %n\n *Retype*new*UNIX*password* %n\n *passwd: *all* authentication*tokens*updated*successfully*

add user script = /usr/sbin/useradd -d /dev/null -g machines -s /bin/false -M %u

#===Shares===

[homes]
comment = Home Directories
browseable = no
writeable = yes

[profiles]
path = /home/samba/profiles
writeable = yes
browseable = no
create mask = 0600
directory mask = 0700

[netlogon]
comment = network logon service
path = /home/samba/netlogon
read only = yes
browseable = no
write list = @sysadmin

OK, here's my problem, I finally got my XP box to join the domain a few days ago, after that I upgraded it to Samba 3.0.2a. I tried to disconnect from the domain and I can't join back in again! I wonder what I did wrong?

I get a message "the domain *** cannot be contacted". I've seen this msg lots of times when I can't join the domain before...
Could anybody give a hand here? I'm ignoring the roaming profiles for the time being until I can fix other problems.

Thanks a lot, any advice would be very very much appreciated!

P.S. I have other problems when I was in the domain, I'll post them here once i solve this problem.
