Can see shares on network boc but not on server.

I have .NET running as my server and XP on the families computer upstairs. I have LinNeighborhood installed and I can see the shares of the XP computer upstairs. I can also see my server name but cannot see the shared folders. On both computers the shares have the same set up so I don't understand why I can't get to my shared drives on my server.

Any thoughts?

Are you attempting to get a Linux box talking to a .Net server and a Win XP box. Is the .Net server the PDC or are you a workgroup?

Yes, I am trying to get mt Linux talking to my .net server. As I said, I can see the shared folders of the XP box upstairs and I can see the server but can't see the shared folders on it.

It's strange because I have DHCP running and it gives my Linux computer an IP address and I can connect through it. But for some reason I can't se the shared folder on it.

Oh, and .NET is running as the PDC.
