Can only connect to the connection used to install Debian/Lenny; VAIO PCG-K23F

Well, I just got this old computer and I installed Linux Mint to have it functional and I had no problem with it, but being an old machine I decided I'd also give a try to Debian (for the speed) so I installed it bare bones, I did a minimal NetInst with the wireless card (yei!) and I had and have no problem with that connection (actually I'm connected right now) but any other place I try to connect I can't, and that's not it, here comes the (or at least I think) tricky part, I can't even get connected on the wired connection (huh?), well, it bites the mind out of me, but perhaps it is not that complicated, I'm in the idea of trying to solve things by myself so I'll give you what I know how to get and perhaps someone we'll be kind enough (mmmm, I'm not sure about that particular word, although there may be other mistakes I'm unaware of) to tell me how to get the info I don't know how to get, so here we go:
