can I set ip address to automatic in Mandrake 10?

How can I set ip address to automatic in Mandrake 10?

In my previous thread I explained that I have 2 pcs connected to a billion 5100 router pc 1 has is connected to port 1 and the router is config through
the win xp pro machine.. now pc 2 is using mandrake 10 through port 2
I cant ping the modem or get any connection on pc 2 (mandrake 10)
But if i was using winxp pro on pc 2 i can get a connection because i know how and what to do... but im extremely new at linux 2 months new lol
can some one give me the keys? beware im a total newbie, who is just learning the basics. I wish to use linux and replace it with anything microsoft related :)

look for a ifcft-eth0 and change BOOTPROTO=dhcp.

I am not exactly sure where Mandrake saves that file. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts on RedHat.

Is there much difference between RH 9.1 and mandrake?

The Mandrake Control Center networking GUI wizard will configure the connection.
