Can I network two computers with a USB A-A cable?

Can I network two computers with a USB A-A cable? And If so how would I go about doing this in Linux?

Thank you.

sure can... I dunno how you'd do it on windoze but if you're going straight linux-to-linux check this out:

http://www.linux-usb.org/usbnet/

it appears to do exactly what you describe

edit --

not exactly what you describe, you need a special type of usb cable, it can't just be straight-through A-A USB cable

No, unless its a special host-host adapter cable. Google for a link
Then you can use the usbnet driver to network the PCs together

Connecting a regular A-A USB cable may short out the PCs damaging one
or both of the USB controllers.
