can connect my win 98 laptop to my linux box

Can someone help me please.
I have a laptop running win 98. On my main box I run linux fedora core 4
trying to see my win 98 box in fc4
Ie created my mnt directory called Laptop
tried this line mount -t smbfs -o username=JPH //JPHLAPTOP/Documents /mnt/Laptop

I getting an error smb failed to connect or smb failed connection.

Can anyone lend some insight to this?

thanks
