Can't reach network?

Hello,

Need a little advise here, or please point me to some reading material on this.

I'm running redhat 9 server/samba and ssh for remote connections.
All works fine if the machine was just recently used. I can test it with a remote user and it works. But, if I leave it alone for a few hours or overnight it says it can't establish a connection.

Any suggestions on this?
Is is idle and sleeping? Settings?

Thanks in advance.
