Hello, I'm fairly new to Linux and have started using Ubuntu on my Lenovo g50. I've run into some rough patches but for the most part the OS is running smoothly on my computer. One major issue I'm having is the Wifi seems to loose connection very frequently and I am unable to reconnect. I am able to maintain a stable connection to the Internet using an Ethernet cable however I would much rather use my Wifi. I've scoured this forum however I have been unable to find anything that can fix this completely. I'd appreciate as much help as I can get.

Wireless problems can be due to a number of factors including channel interference, signal levels, power management issues, driver regression issues....

You need to provide more information about your wireless hardware.
or
Once you know the driver pertaining to the wireless device, you can check parameters applied
*substitute <wireless-driver> with actual driver.
This can help where power management is active, and if necessary the driver can be loaded with it disabled

What kind of signal levels are you getting? This needs to be run while your wireless connection is active.
You can get more dynamic output using
**CTRL-Z to stop.

Report back with the output from those commands. I'm sure others can assist further.
