Can't get wired or wireless to work in anti-X

I have an old ibm thinkpad and anti-x was one of the distros recommended to me. My install went fine but I can't get any kind of connection. I googled and the only response was a link to a post on this board but it didn't help.

Here are the results from lspci
Code:

Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/wireless 2015ABG (Calexico2)
Driver in use Ipw2200

Ethernet Controller Broadcom Limited NetXtreme BCM5751M Gigabit Eternet PCI
Driver in use tg3

Since I'm having to type this in manually let me know if I missed anything.

I went through the control center and both devices are found. I use WPA so I selected the wireless connection I want to use and enter the password but it fails to connect.

I tried iwconfig and it shows eth1 with the following errors
Code:

invalid nwid, invalid crypt, invalid frag.
eth0 and lo both show: no wireless extentions

I have read that broadcoms can be a problem. I am pretty new to linux so I'd really appreciate the help.
