Can't get Android phone to connect to Wifi hotspot
I few days back I posted a message here in Networking about getting my Wifi hotspot up and functioning. I had to go through several hoops to get it working right, but I eventually figured that out. Now, unfortunately, I have another issue, that cropped up right after I got my hotspot working.
I can't connect to my computer's Wifi hotspot, with my Android. Either sometimes (depending on my Wifi config) it will get stuck
on the configuring IP phase of the connection, or it will connect with 'saved, secured', without any real connection. It will accept my password and then nothing really happens.
I've tried just about everything I know, and browsed for various fixes. I've tried several suggested solutions, from Android and Ubuntu forums, especially, and nothing works.
I need to get my connection working because I use my Wifi on my Android phone, for browsing/posting to Instagram, so I don't eat up my limited bandwidth (2GB/month) on my phone's wireless plan...
If I haven't provided enough info, I can do so later.
