Actually i have made a 4 node REDHAT LINUX 9 cluster i have tried a lot to get to node freely from server and vice versa for that i did this
/home is shared between nodes and server
node side:
ssh-keygen -t rsa1
.....
....
..
key saved to /home/sam/.ssh/identity.pub

then i made file authorized_keys in the same directory thru this
cp identity.pub authorized_keys.. same procedure on server side

Then i took the node's authorized_keys to server and appended in the end of file
server side:
/home/drss/.ssh/authorized_keys

But couldn't ssh freely(passwordless) from server to node..........

maybe this will help.

Maybe the problem is the difference between local and remote user name ?
