Hi there,
I have couchdb installed on a raspberry pi and I am simply trying to connect to it remotely from another computer. I have set the bind address to 0.0.0.0, it is still in admin party mode, but I still can't connect to it.
So I can connect to the Raspberry Pi on port 22, no problem, however the connection gets closed immediately on port 5984.
The docs just say to change the bind address, which is most definitely 0.0.0.0 and
Code:
netstat -an | grep 5984
replies with:
Code:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5984 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
I have no idea where to go from here, but I am suspecting there is some sort of authentication that is causing the problem, but that is a complete guess and I don't know how to check this, the intention was to get a basic connection and gradually make it secure as I learned, however I just can't get it to connect.
So some more back ground, on this occasion I am trying to connect via a Windows machine using Putty, however, I have in the past tried to connect with another raspberry pi and the same thing happened.
What am I missing?
