Building conexant pci adsl drivers on 2.6.18 kernel with 'CONFIG_REGPARM' defined

My Kernel was built with 'CONFIG_REGPARM' defined, it's a ClarkConnect 4.2 server. Is there a way I can get round this or would I have to rebuild my kernel? (not a real option)

The error I get when building the driver is

#error "CONFIG_REGPARM defined, you can't use this driver with this option"

Thanks.
